Portage, collection, distribution : passive cold solutions for local communities

CCAS & communities : what if you chose isothermal equipment designed for your real constraints ?

Meals delivered to elderly people, redistribution of unsold food, supply of school canteens or medico-social institutions : strict compliance with the cold chain is a regulatory necessity, but also a requirement for quality and public health.

In a context where citizens’ expectations regarding quality, environmental impact and budgetary management are stronger than ever, local authorities, CCAs and public institutions must make strategic logistical choices, in particular for the transport of foodstuffs.

Professional solutions designed for the field

At COLD & CO, we design and manufacture isothermal solutions adapted to the logistical realities of local authorities and field actors.

CarryTemp – The large format professional cooler

CarryTemp isothermal coolers are ATP certified containers, designed to carry large volumes of fresh or frozen food products, up to 96 hours of temperature maintenance, without the need for power supply.

•3 volumes available in trunk format
• ATP Certified – ideal for pooling collections or carrying out long tours (>80 km)
• Passive cold operation with eutectic plates
• A real alternative to the refrigerated truck

Distrifresh – The lightweight, durable and hygienic insulated box

Our Distrifresh range, in expanded polypropylene (EPP), is designed for everyday uses: meal carrying, food distribution or inter-site trips.

• Ultra light and impact resistant
• Compliant with food contact
• Ideal for an organization « one container = one recipient »
• Easy to clean and fully recyclable

CrocoChill – The isothermal insert or the 2-in-1 pouch

CrocoChill is a flexible and versatile isothermal bag. It can be used in two ways :

In insert, slipped into a 600×400 plastic box, it transforms a standard logistics bin into a real container.

As a stand-alone bag, it becomes an ultra light, ergonomic and economical solution for distribution rounds or pick-up points.

With a high-performance fiber insulation, compatible with PL600 eutectic plates, CrocoChill is an ally of passive cold, sober and mobile.

Concrete savings and better organization

Lighter and more manageable than conventional containers, our coolers reduce the hardness of logistics teams, fuel costs and management complexity.

Our solutions avoid the costs related to the rental or maintenance of refrigerated vehicles, while respecting the ATP regulations on the transport of foodstuffs.

More responsible logistics, at the service of the most vulnerable

Several communities have already taken the plunge, choosing isothermal equipment that is more agile, more sustainable, and better adapted to everyday challenges. From food collection to the delivery of the last meter, our solutions support you in respecting standards, budgets and your social and environmental commitments.

➡ Are you a community, a CCAS, a public structure ? Do not hesitate to contact our team to configure your isothermal containers according to your logistical and sanitary constraints.
