COLD & CO at the Cyclo-Cargologie Forum in Paris : a focus on decarbonised urban logistics

On March 12th, we were present in Paris to participate in the Cyclo-Cargologie Forum, an event that has become a must for cycloclogists. Organised by Boites à Vélo – France and Boites à Vélo – Paris & Ile de France with the support of the City of Paris and the Métropole du Grand Paris, this event brought together more than 200 participants around a common ambition: to reinvent last mile delivery.

Cyclologistics, a matter of course for urban logistics

Today, congestion, low-emission zones (LFE), energy costs and environmental expectations are driving delivery actors to rethink their models. The cyclologistic is then imposed as an agile solution, clean and adapted to the constraints of city centers.
The forum highlighted this dynamic through interventions, demonstrations and an exhibition space rich in concrete solutions.

COLD & CO presents its mobile refrigeration solutions for cargo bikes

On our stand, we had the pleasure of presenting two innovative solutions designed for cold cyclologistics :

1. Fleximodal CarryTemp XL9 with BicyLift trailer

Our CarryTemp XL9 is a large volume 880L isothermal box, certified ATP for the transport of cold and frozen food.
Mounted on the BicyLift trailer from our partner Fleximodal, it allows :

• Carry out urban deliveries without a refrigerated truck
• Ensure temperature maintenance for a full day of delivery
• Deliver up to the last meter, silent and emission-free

2. New 2025: K-Ryole CityTemp XL12

Exclusively, our partner K-Ryole showcased the CityTemp XL12, our latest innovation.
With a volume of 1000L, this isothermal box is specially designed for K-Ryole electric assistance trailers. It allows larger quantities to be delivered while remaining 100% decarbonized and self-sufficient in energy.

A day full of exchanges... and perspectives !

This forum confirms that last mile logistics can be efficient, clean and responsible. At COLD & CO, we put our expertise in the cold chain to work for this new mobility.

See you soon on SiTL or in Strasbourg!

📍 Meet us at SiTL from April 1 to 3, 2025 – Stand A044, SELFI village
📍 And at the Cyclo-Cargology Forum in Strasbourg, 9 April 2025

Keeping the Cold Chain during the handling of messenger RNA vaccines against COVID-19

Exposure of Cominarty and Moderna vaccines to room temperature for more than 3 minutes is irreversible as the vaccine is considered thawed. It can’t be re-frozen. In January 2021, the Cold Health Commission “Covid-19” of the « Association Française du Froid » (AFF) published several understanding notes, information and good practices of the cold chain around COVID-19 vaccines. 1.

Protecting varnishes and paints from the cold: the unexpected ally of the fine chemistry sector

In the fine chemistry sector, some formulations are extremely sensitive to temperature variations. This is particularly the case for varnishes, paints and glosses for textiles and leather, used in particular for finishing edges and delicate surfaces. These products, often packaged in small bottles of 100 mL to 1 L, must never go below 5°C, sometimes
