As part of the transport of Covid-19 vaccine doses and for the last few kilometres to hospitals, pharmacies, Ehpads (retirement homes for dependent seniors), laboratories or medical offices, COLD & CO offers its range of portable and stand-alone isothermal containers and coolers.
Combined with a refrigerant, the Diagnocase and CarryTemp boxes ensure the cold chain over different temperature ranges, at -80°C with dry ice, at -20°C, 0°C, +2°C/+8°C and up to +25°C with eutectic plates, allowing the storage of thermo-sensitive pharmaceuticals for several days.

Keeping temperature
Temperature at -80°C
To keep a temperature below -80°C, use dry ice, also known as Carboglace.
Our CarryTemp and DiagnoCase insulated containers have been proven to maintain temperature of -80°C for several days.
Temperature at -20°C
To keep a temperature below -20°C, place our PCM -20°C eutectic plates in CarryTemp and DiagnoCase insulated containers.
This complete and reusable solution ensures the maintain of temperature at -20°C for a minimum of 24h.

Temperature at +2°C / +8°C
The solution for the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines in the 5°C +/- 3°C temperature range is to combine our PCM +5°C eutectic plates with the CarryTemp and Diagnocase isothermal containers.
This system ensures a +2°C / +8°C cold chain for a minimum of 24 hours.

Packaging and marking

The Diagnocase coolers and CarryTemp thermal containers meet the specific packaging and labelling requirements for the use of dry ice:
- resistance to very low temperatures of the dry ice without alteration of the materials;
- gas permeable to allow CO2 from dry ice sublimation to escape to avoid overpressure inside the container;
- the presence of an external document-holder window to position the specific labelling for dry ice.
