Application of the ThermalPads

The ThermalPads reinforce the thermal mass of your isothermal pallets by acting as a cold battery. Thanks to their high thermal inertia, they allow to:

  • stabilize the temperature of your sensitive goods,
  • extend the duration of the cold chain,
  • anticipate the risks of cold breakage during load breaks (docks, customs, unbundling),
  • protect your products from thermal shocks in extreme conditions.

Placed on the top or side under the isothermal cover, they optimize the temperature maintenance of your transported products, even in the absence of active cold production.

Format available in cover for pallet

The 2.4 format is the only model in the range that can be assembled into a cover for logistics pallets. This configuration allows to cover the entire upper surface of a pallet, increasing its cold and uniform mass.

This solution is ideal for applications requiring homogeneous protection against thermal shocks on entire pallets, particularly in situations of cold break or non-refrigerated transport.

Customizable format in standard dimensions

In addition to the 2.4 format, the other ThermalPads models are also customizable, mainly in weight and thickness, to adapt to the desired thermal performance. These formats are designed for modular applications, easy to position in isothermal covers, coolers or transport boxes.

These ThermalPads cannot be produced as a tablecloth covering a whole pallet, unlike the 2.2 format. They are designed to operate in independent modules, distributed according to the configuration of the container and the need for thermal inertia.

Each ThermalPad format is available in several weight and thickness variations, in order to precisely adjust the thermal performance according to the desired shelf life and the volume of the load.

The thickness and weight directly affect the thermal capacity of the ThermalPad: the greater the thickness, the greater the amount of gel, and the higher the accumulation of cold energy. This allows a longer temperature hold.
